Parking Permits

 

When planning a party, get together, garage or estate sale, you may call the Records Division at the Leawood Police Department at 913-642-7700 to request temporary "No Parking" signs.  Advise the appropriate number of cars expected. 

 

The Police Department will forward approved requests to the Public Works Department for installation.  This process may take up to 2 to 3 days.  It is to your advantage that you call as soon as possible to make your sign request has the appropriate time to be reviewed.  Residents wishing to confirm that their request was processed by the Police and Public Works Department are asked to phone 24 hours prior to the event; preferably in the morning. 

 

The installation of "No Parking" signs will assist in providing a more passable street and access for emergency vehicles should the need arise.  The signs will be picked up by the Public Works Department on the next working day.
